Subtitled "The Art of Driving the Super-Highway"

From Ingy : This is one of the shorts that I remember the most. It is positively hilarious and also has good instruction for driving. I remember watching it in Driver's Ed class. When it started and the title came up I whooped with joy, which of course made the whole class look at me and the teacher wasn't too happy. I have been searching and waiting and hoping it would show up on a DVD someday. Where/when will it ever happen?

From Christopher Cruz : What can I say? Hilarious! Seen it dozens of times. It's also good for the driver's ed student (even though Goofy is considered a "kiddie" cartoon), it clearly shows that kinds of crazy drivers on the road today. "Let's hope you never become one!" Goofy says. My favorite driver in this short-Stupidicus. Though there's a serious element to it, it's hilariously played out!

From Baruch Weiss : Freewayphobia, AKA, How not to drive. One thing you don't do is shave and drive at the same time. I saw that and laughed out loud!

From Paul Mular : "Freewayphobia" as well as "Goofy's Freeway Troubles" is available in the U.S. on DVD from Disney Educational Productions on one DVD.

They will sell to individuals, you do not have to be a school to buy it.

There was also a commercial VHS release in the U.S. as a part of the Wonderful World of Disney home video series. This version edited the two shorts together, removing original titles and the duplicate introduction of the freeway system.

While these shorts are educational, they are also entertaining. Much more entertaining than most educational Disney shorts. But since the intent was education first, they are not the belly-busters that Goofy's "How To.." series was. You will recognize many bad drivers you have encountered when you see Goofy drive. But if you recognize yourself, you are in trouble!
