Comments
- From Ryan : After Mickey gives Pluto a buffalo bone on their vacation to an Apache (or some other southwestern Indian) village, Pluto soon runs into a puppy who looks a lot like Ronnie from the "The Purloined Pup." Although I find most of this short boring, I do enjoy the cactus scene and the artwork of the short in general. The background artists certainly put a lot of effor into their work in those days. Compare this to the poor background art of cartoons of the 60's. Okay of a short, but not among my favorites.
- From Baruch Weiss : While vacationing in South America Mickey gives Pluto a buffalo bone while he goes shopping and when the mouse is away the dogs will play! Okay for a short, but not one of my favorites either as the plot is similar to earlier Pluto cartoons.
- From Billy Joe : It's a fun short. I like how Mickey is driving very fast to the store. I also like the ending line where Mickey asks if Pluto got any souvenirs, and Pluto is bringing home the puppy that tried to steal Pluto's bone.
